Beacon Rise Primary School is set beautifully on a hill amongst large playing fields and grounds with extensive views across Bristol and towards the beautiful world heritage city of Bath.

The surrounding area is rich in history. Bristol itself is an ancient trading city, famous for its historical port and engineering background, whereas Bath is a famous spa town with elegant Georgian buildings and  interesting literary and Art associations.

Our school is situated in Kingswood on the outskirts of the large historical city of Bristol, England. We have recently celebrated our hundredth birthday and the impressive Victorian buildings are still going strong.

The school has three main buidings named after local rivers: Frome building where the office, Nursery and Reception classes are located, Severn building where the older pupils in Y4, 5 and 6 are taught and Avon building where the younger pupils in Y1, 2 and 3 are taught.
