Football
This year we have seen record numbers at football club with over 40 pupils turning out on cold and wet Tuesday afternoons to have a kick around. Thankfully, we have received excellent support from Paul ‘Arsene Wenger’ Bold who has helped with both training and matches.
Beacon Rise football summary
Well done to all the boys and girls who played so well for the football team this year. Following a very tricky season with many cancellations due to weather, everyone can be proud of what they achieved. The team managed to finish on a high, with a superb 2-0 win over St Annes cementing 4th sport in the league.
Thank you to all the parents who helped throughout the season and can I also give a special thanks to Paul who helped with training, matches and even refereeing some very difficult games for the team.
