PARENTAL SUPPORT
All parents automatically become members of the FBR (Friends of Beacon Rise). This is a wonderfully supportive group which organises a range of social and fund raising events throughout the year. It is run by a representative committee of staff and parents. There are two major fund raising ventures, Summer and Christmas Fairs.
DISCLOSURE FORM
All parent helper volunteers, staff and Governors new to the school, are asked to complete a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) Disclosure form. A Disclosure is an impartial and confidential document that details an individual’s criminal record, and where appropriate, details of those who are banned from working with children. All members of staff welcome any contribution you are able to make.
