The school has a clear policy on homework provision. All pupils, from Reception onwards, are given homework by their class teacher. Homework, mainly supports Literacy and Numeracy, especially learning spellings and mathematics tables, but may include extension work for other subjects.
It is important that parents support and monitor their child’s homework to make the most of the teacher’s guidance and planning. Pupils do well when home and school work closely together and become active partners in their child’s education. |
