Recently we held a Multi-Cultural Bristol Week at Beacon Rise so that we could find out all about the different cultures that are in and around Bristol.

Different year groups learnt about the cultures of the Caribbean, India, Africa, Italy, China, Poland and Pakistan.

We had lots of visitors, like a Caribbean poet and story teller, who really made us laugh, a henna artist, Indian cooks and dancers, as well as many others!

In the canteen, Pat cooked lunches from some of the different cultures and we had lots of fun doing art work, cooking, playing games and lots of other things, some of us even had a go at the limbo!

Children and staff at the school had a wonderful week and learnt a lot about the different cultures and how they have had an impact on our lives in Bristol.
