Beacon Rise pupils take part in the South Gloucestershire Festival of Sport. |

The Year 6 pupils had a fantastic time at their ball at Chewton Place in Keynsham. |

2008 Barn Dance
Everyone had great fun at the barn dance. Over £360 was raised, but more importantly we got to see Barrie’s nimble footed dancing. |

India Day
The nursery children took part in an ‘India’ day. They dressed up and danced the day away. |

Pancake Day
On pancake day everyone enjoyed helping to make enough pancakes for everyone. |

Health and Safety
The regular Health and Safety Executive accredited course was enjoyed by Mr Thomas. It was at this point that he realised that when he had been asked if he wanted to go out and get plastered he had got the wrong idea. |

Foundation Stage Picnic
The Foundation Stage held a picnic for the pupils and parents. On a magical Autumn afternoon the parachute games were enjoyed by all. |

Nursery Children visit Mrs Joyner
The Nursery children visited Mrs Joyner in the office as part of their learning about people who help them at school. Mrs Joyner kept them entertained for hours with tales of administrative fun. |

Christmas Disco
FBR held a Christmas disco in December for Key Stage 1 and 2. The teachers set the standard, sharing their skills with enthusiasm. |

Modern Foreign Languages session
One of our Governors, Gareth Manson, visited school to lead an Modern Foreign Languages session for the ‘Gifted and Talented’ children from local schools. This is one of a range of sessions we organise for children from the local area. |

Nursery Sing-a-long
The parents of nursery children enjoy joining in with a sing-a-long. They were amazed at how well the pupils behaved and sang. |
