Beacon Rise win at Spring Festival of Sport
On Saturday 24th April a group of talented year 5s entered the South Gloucestershire Spring Festival of Sport to showcase their fantastic bench ball skills. They certainly did their school (and supportive parents who had to give up their Saturday morning lie-in!) proud by coming away victorious, winning all 7 games they played. At the end of the tournament the team had scored in total 69 bench ‘goals’ and conceded 0!
