Uniform Standards
Please ensure your child is wearing the correct uniform. No jewellery, wrist bands etc. are allowed and should not be worn. We currently have extremely large piles of lost property in each building and, because it is unlabelled, we are unable to return it to the owners.
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones are not permitted in school classrooms. If your child needs to bring a mobile phone to school it should be brought to the school office at the beginning of the school and collected at the end of the day. Where ever possible we would appreciate it if you would discourage your child from bringing valuable items to school.
Punctuality
Thank you to those pupils who are making the effort to arrive on time every morning for the start of school. Unfortunately several pupils are still arriving after 8.50am when the whistle has gone for morning registration. Any pupil arriving after this time should go to the school office to be registered. All late arrivals are closely monitored by the Authority and any pupil persistently arriving after registration has closed will be referred to Education Welfare.
Please remember that pupils arriving late not only cause disruption to the class but start their school day feeling anxious and distressed. We have your child’s best interests at heart and would appreciate your co-operation with this. Thank you to those parents who are collecting their children on time at the end of the day.
