Uniform
Our Uniform
The school colours are grey and royal blue.
Pupils should wear:
- grey trousers, short or long, or grey skirt
- white polo shirt
- royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan
- black shoes or trainers
School uniform items, with logos, can be purchased from our supplier. Pre-owned uniform and sports kit is also available from the FBR shop.
Clothing for PE and Games
All children must have appropriate clothing for P.E. and games. This is:
- navy shorts
- TeamBR t-shirt or plain navy t-shirt
- trainers
On PE days pupils are allowed to wear the following, with their PE kit underneath, to minimise the need for changing:
- logo printed, or plain, navy hoody
- plain navy tracksuit bottoms
It is important that all equipment and clothing should be clearly marked, with the child’s name, as it is almost impossible to trace and return un-marked items.
Make-up and Jewellery
On health and safety grounds, we do not allow pupils to wear jewellery in our school. Pupils who wear make-up/nail varnish will be asked to remove these.
The exceptions to this rule are:
- One small pair of plain gold/silver studs in the ear lobes
- Watches
No other jewellery or piercings of any kind are permissible. We ask pupils to either remove ear-ring studs during PE and games, or to cover them with a plaster (provided by the parent), to prevent them from causing injury to others or themselves.
